Lately, I have been discussing the important contribution of the film Raising Arizona with some of my friends. This film makes me glad to be alive.
Here are some of the classic lines:
"Son, you got a panty on your head."
"What, are you kiddin’, we got us a family here!"
"Biology and the prejudices of others conspired to keep us childless."
" you're young and you got your health, what you want with a job?"
"It's a crazy world." "Someone oughta sell tickets." "Sure, I'd buy one."
"Do these blow up into funny shapes?" "Not unless you think round is funny."
"We figured there was too much happiness here for just the two of us, so we figured the next logical step was to have us a critter."
"Well, which is it young feller? You want I should freeze or get down on the ground? Mean to say, if'n I freeze, I can't rightly drop. And if'n I drop, I'ma gonna be in motion. You see..."
"Why ain't you breast-feeding? You appear to be capable."
"Well, no, they got them tape-ettes already on there. It's self-contained and fairly explanatory."
"The doctor explained that her insides were a rocky place, where my seed could find no purchase."
"Here is the divan, for socializing and relaxing with the family unit."
